Un magasin de chaussures.
Dans les années 30, Berthe Gond travaillait dans ce magasin comme vendeuse. Sa patronne, Madame Bourgeois qui l’appréciait et n’avait pas d’enfants, lui fit don de son magasin.
Berthe, devenue Madame Millère par son mariage, a donc tenu ce petit magasin de chaussures jusqu’en 1970.
Le soir, il n’était pas rare de voir André, son mari, revenir en vélo, tout blanc, couvert de coton : il travaillait chez Froger -Gosselin à Saint Rémy, à la fabrication des pansements.

Un negozio di calzature.
Durante gli anni ’30, Berthe Gond lavorava in questo negozio come venditrice. La sua padrona, Madame Bourgeois, che l’apprezzava e non aveva bambini, le fece dono del suo negozio.
Berthe, divenuta Madame Millère con il matrimonio, tenne dunque questo piccolo negozio di calzature fino al 1970.
La sera, non era raro vedere il marito André rientrare in bicicletta, tutto bianco e coperto di cotone: lavorava infatti da Froger-Goselin a Saint-Rémy, alla fabbricazione di fasciature.

A shoe shop.
In the 1930’s Berthe Gond was a sales womand in this shop. Her boss, Mrs. Bourgeois, liked her. She had no children and let her run the shop.
After her marriage, Berthe became Mrs. Millère and ran this shoe shop until 1970.
In the evenings, it was not unusual to see her husband André returning home on his bike covered in cotton. He worked at Froger-Gosselin in St. Rémy, where they made bandages.
