De la Mare à Groult, à la Place de la Mare..
Avant d’être la Place de la Mare, ce lieu était « La Mare à Groult ».
Alphonse et sa femme ( ici sur la photo) y abreuvaient leurs animaux.
Leur ferme était située dans le bourg comme 4 autres exploitations à l’époque.
Leur petit-fils, Claude, dont la ferme était rue du Puits de la Vie, a été le dernier agriculteur du bourg de Clécy. Il le quitta en 1972, suite aux contraintes liées à la construction de la nouvelle route contournant Clécy.
Durant près de 30 ans, ce lieu a été le parking de l’école avant les travaux de l’école maternelle.

De la Mare à Groult, à la Place de la Mare…
Prima di diventare la Piazza della Mare, questo luogo era chiamato « La Mare à Groult ».
Alphonse e sua moglie vi facevano abbeverare i loro animali.
La loro fattoria era situata nel borgo come gli altri 4 terreni dell’epoca.
Il loro nipote Claude, la cui fattoria si trovava in Rue du Puits de la vie, fu l’ultimo agricoltore nel borgo di Clécy. Lasciò nel 1972, dopo le imposizioni legate alla costruzione della nuova strada che affiancava Clécy.
Per circa 30 anni questo luogo è stato il parcheggio della scuola prima dei lavori per la scuola materna.

The pool in Groult/ Place of the Pool
Before it was the Place of the Pool, this was as known as the Pool at Grould. Alphonse and his wife (shown here in the photograph) seen here watering their animals.
Their farm was situated in the small market town like 4 other working farms at that time.
Their grandson Claude came from a farm on rue Puits de la Vie. He wa the last farmer in the town of Clécy. He left it in 1972, when construction of the new road around Clécy was built.
During nearly 30 years the area was a parking area belonging to the school, before they started work on the new nursery.
